Custom Fabrication Projects

Wayne Stine stands next to his 1938 Willys pickup with a 1940 Willys front end.  Wayne found the truck in a barn and brought it to us for a full conversion from stock to gasser race truck.  We shortened the bed, boxed in the frame, added the rollbar, installed complete suspension and performed extensive frame modifications.  Wayne also provided us with a set of WWII B-29 bomber seats which were modified to adapt to the rollcage supports.  The body which is in several shades of primer is in the same primer it was found in - Wayne intends to keep it in this condition.  The rear fenders are original Montgomery Ward trailer fenders in their original packaging from the late 1950's.  Wayne is completing this rolling chassis project in his barn with high priority to deput it as 'The Haymaker' in the 2012 nostalgic racing season.
